AEG and O2 launched ‘Up at The O2’ in 2012 – an unforgettable 90-minute expedition across the roof of The O2. Visitors cross a fabric walkway suspended 52m above ground level providing spectacular views of the city.

O2 briefed pd3 to develop and produce a creative concept that brought the end-to-end customer experience to life.

Our concept was ‘The Patchwork Explorer’ – a modern-day adventurer, piecing together their own memories and stories through their experience and what they see from observation platform. This concept translated across all the following elements, which pd3 worked with O2 and AEG to deliver. These included interior design and project management of customer pavilions, customer messaging and communication, design and production of the visitors’ uniform, creative development of the mobile app and content strategy and production of a visitor briefing video.
